1939-1940 New York Worlds Fair-Court Of Peace Race Cars-Fair License Plate
Auction is for a old NY license plate,see photo # 2
, in fair condition . We are always interested in items related to spectators watching or participants in the racing of miniature  gas powered model  tether cars, that competed every Sunday afternoon on the pavement  at the "Court of Peace" in 1939 and at the adult playground ( parking area )  ,next to the  "Aquacade" on a wooded race track  during the 1939 and 1940 season, WANTED:   Worlds Fair  items include: private scrap book photos or press photos, Fair  race promotional items, home movies, fair  weekly  newspapers and magazine clippings. Brass Trylon-Perisphere trophies and awards, pins, badges, ribbons, membership cards with A.M.R.C.A. logo on them,, also photos, catalogs, items  from  the "Hobby Craft Store",  that was located inside the "Railroad Building" containing gas powered  model airplanes,boats and cars and the special "Engineers Day" proceeding at the end of the racing season.
