1969 Chevrolet CK 10 Super Cheyenne 4x4 Restored LS Swap Classic Pickup. This short bed truck has had a Chevrolet late model LS swap done, lifted approximately 8 inches riding on Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain's on 20 x 14 deep offset fuel wheels. Somebody has put a lot of time and effort into this truck but it does like any project still need some finishing touches we are a little bit more over descriptive than most would be but we know what it takes to build one of these trucks. We also are not stupid to what they are bringing at high end auction when they are perfect (0k plus). This truck has an extremely good look the negatives that we can speak upon after going over it pretty closely would be (most would sell this or see it as an absolute perfect truck we’re just a little more crucial and picky then most) … the front driveshaft which is included needs to be adapted and reinstalled, some of the wiring could use cleaning up with loom etc and the paint finish (though appears amazing from a few feet if you get up on it closely you can see imperfections some maybe would buff off or wet sand but would not call it show perfect currently). The great part is this truck has nice tinted glass, custom made door panels, seat and interior carpet etc. are all correct, digital gauge system, OBD II port going to the fuel injected engine that runs well and starts, proper transmission shifts and four-wheel-drive engages, eight lug three-quarter ton axles have been installed, Cowl induction steel hood, bed cover, spray in bedliner and all of its trim intact and proper doors open and close very solidly and the truck appears to have had extremely little rust. The bed supports bottom of the floor pan etc. all are in excellent shape chassis clean and again this truck is a show stopper to look at and we would love to carry it to the next level but have priced it fair with the market conditions with finishing touches this truck could easily be a six figure truck.

In 1976, Davis Auto Sales opened in the southern part of Chesterfield County branching off from the already existing Davis Auto Repair family run business which was started in the early 1950’s by TL Davis, Jr. Jimmy Davis, always a mechanical handyman, saw a way to buy and repair vehicles in his spare time to make extra money. Always tinkering, his passion became a business. Instead of doing things against the rules, as many today still do, he made it legal -- got the licensing needed and Davis Auto Sales was born. Mr.Davis was running the show by day and Gail Davis (wife) was handling the books at night, while still working in a corporate career. Being in a rural area, the business had small beginnings specializing in trucks, 4x4 vehicles, some large sedans, and station wagons. As the times changed, and the localized community that traveled on the rural Woodpecker Road location branched out, it was time to look for a more visible location!
