Up for bid is a Pair of Lewmar 40 Ocean Series Self Tailing winch. These are 2 speed winches. These used winches are in beautiful shape and will look beautiful on the deck of your boat.

They are in
great working order, they both turns very nicely in both directions (high and low speeds) and click as it should. They have been stored indoors since being removed. Both have been disassembled, and the interior parts of the winch cleaned and re-lubricated. I did this the right way using
mineral spirits as the cleaning solvent, using teflon based grease on all parts except the Pawls, which were oiled. I also replaced the following parts on both winches: the upper crown assembly and the pawl springs.   These will provide you with many many decades of use! These winches are very powerful with a 40:1 Power ratio in the low gear!  Perfect for any number of applications on your sailboat. A huge upgrade over a non - self tailing winch!!!! These are much safer to to use than traditional winch, because it allows you to keep you hands off of the rope when it is under load on the drum!
