    Description

    This is for a large size piece of sky blue pseudomorph fire opal from altered chalcedony from a mine in central Nevada.
    Pseudomorph means this used to be chalcedony and due to extreme surface events it became partly replaced by precious opal, very rare unique to only this area.
    A similar type of this material was previously mined 1930-50s from the Tiffany jewelers. I personally discovered and mined this exact find area from 2007-2020 I named it Hooper Opal,
    Nice greens reds oranges yellows purples and blues May be few fractures, nice design with unique patterns piece has more fire than what is shown. Fire will be all throughout. Pictures taken in sunlight
    • 100% natural nice high cutting quality has cured for 5 years hardness is that of agates very hard opal and can be stored dry without fracturing. May be some pre existing fractures.
    • Measures roughly 1 1/4” long 3/4” wide and 1/2” thick
    Piece have been stored damp or wet and will be shipped the same. some pieces may turn lighter blue base but the fire will remain the same.
