Description

This glass Japanese fishing float was found at Horsefall Beach on the Southwest Oregon coast near the towns of Coos Bay and North Bend by my father who enjoyed beach combing. The fishing float was found following a winter storm in the mid 1970s. The glass float is in good shape with some weathering, fading, dirt, spider checking, and has many bubbles and inclusions in the glass.There is a marking on the float plug, please see pictures. The marking isn't a stamp but appears to be formed with glass. This glass float is larger than a basketball. Please contact me if you have any questions about the float.
