ART DECO 1939 NEW YORK WORLDS TRYLON & PERISPHERE NEEDLE BOOK QUEENS NEW YORK CITY This is a really nice Art Deco style needle case which was a souvenir of the 1939 Worlds Fair that was held in Queens New York City. It pictures a four color image of the Trylon & Perisphere
and is captioned

World’s Fair 1939 – Needle Book. It is also captioned at the bottom right and reads © 1939 World’s Fair – Copyright 1938 – Pilgrim Needle Company. The case measures 6¾” x 4⅜”. When opened only half of the needles are intact on the right hand side. The reverse side pictures a four color image of a fountain. The condition is quite nice with some normal age wear with a tiny tear under the word “book” on the front cover. A great addition to any 1939 New York World’s Fair , Trylon & Perisphere , Needle , Sewing
