This auction is for a Barient No 16 LARGE Stainless Sailboat Winch.  It has been lightly used, remaining in REMARKABLE Condition- There are numerous photos, inside and out, showing their details and condition.
This Barient Stainless No 16 is the SCARCE large version of their No 16 winches. Made in U.S.A. Absolutely factory original, running in the size of typical No 20 or 22 winches.
This provides a great deal more power due to the larger drum dimensions and greater weight.   Measures about 5 3/8" inches across the base, and stands about 5 1/8" inches tall.   About the size of Lewmar No 30 winches.
This stainless Barient winch will never get a line ring from use, unlike the recent lesser winches.
A weighty and extremely HEAVY DUTY winch, with a Bronze column and base and massive Stainless Steel drum.   Accepts all standard modern winch handles. Caged stainless roller bearings for loooong life. Pawls and machined surfaces remain crisp, and the the textured line gripping surface shows virtually NO wear. I doubt that another of these large format Barient No 16's will be found in this condition.
Though this is a  very heavy winch, the stated USPS Priority shipping is correct anywhere in the U.S.
