Description

This London trio is yet another lovely homage to the United Kingdom. Purchasing them as a unit reflects a substantial savings......plus an additional savings on postage ( because they will be shipped together in the same box ). They were all created for the “ 2002 London Cow Parade “ charity auction event.
“ JUBILEE “ cow ( UK # 6007, US # 7320 ) was designed and created by the artist Keith Wallace, in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s
“ Golden Jubilee “
( commemorating her “ 50th “ year as the Queen of England ). The original lifesize cow was on display at Buckingham Palace to commemorate the Queen’s reign ( and was on loan from the
“ Four Season’s Hotel ). “ JUBILEE “ is painted a shimmery gold, and decorated with the official royal flag
depicting a sketch of the royal crown, and the year of the Queen’s inauguration.
“ COW BUS “ ( UK # 6014 ), was designed by international artist Annabel Church-Smith ( Annabel was trained in sculpture and traditional art ). The “ BIG RED
BUS “ is one of London’s most famous mobile landmarks. Consequently this made it a must to include this iconic bus as part of the London herd.
“ BOVINGHAM PALACE “ (UK # 6004 ) was designed by the artist John Marshall......who is one of the United Kingdom’s leading modern artists specializing in cows. John designed this cow as a tribute to London’s Buckingham Palace.
All three of these precious little bovines have been stored out of direct sunlight in a smoke-free, dust-free environment, and have only been removed from their original boxes twice. The first time when they were inspected upon their original purchase, and again when they were photographed for their debut on eBay.
