PM10 ground & polished Snowflake Spiderweb Silver ore?, Mohawkite? cabbing rough

Take your time. This is EITHER Snowflake Spiderweb Silver ore, or it is Mohawkite. It is almost impossible to tell just by looking at it. Mohawkite in this grade is worth more than pure Silver bullion anyway. Mohawk is only found in one place on Earth, the Mohawk mine in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. That mine has been closed for decades and is sealed shut. I do have lots of KNOWN Mohawkite from the 30 years I detected that area.
I metal detected over 500 gold and silver mines in a 40 plus year period. The detector goes beep, and the piece gets dug out of the ground. Thrown on a pile where it probably sat for decades before I had time to grind and polish it, I have no idea where this was found. It is a big pile. Like Forrest Gumps Mom said about the box of chocolates, ya never know what your gonna get. Look at the photos that are not polished to see what it looked like when dug up.
At the rock and gem shows I get per gram for this material. Its primary use is for slabbing and cabbing into jewelry pendants. Sure is pretty, huh?  Collectors of minerals and mining artifacts go nutso for this stuff.
It MIGHT BE Native Silver of a very high grade. The only way to tell is Nitric acid. That stuff can kill you if you breath it, ( I do breath very frequently) and I quit using acid 20 years ago. If the piece is Mohawk, the acid just dissolves and ruins the piece. I have no intention of destroying a valuable jewelry piece just to test it.
