    Description

    Delightful, 17" long, antique (circa 1923-30) German manufactured, jointed baby doll with beautiful, signed celluloid swivel head on original, chubby composition and cloth baby body. He is
    signed with the trademark:
    mermaid in a shield
    for
    Cellba, Schoberl & Becker
    on the back of his neck. He has gorgeous big, blue glass sleep eyes with perfect hair eyelashes, closed mouth and molded and painted reddish blond hair. His chubby composition, jointed arms and legs have their original paint finish (slight surface wear, paint chips on his heels) with his sweet little hands in clenched fists. He has a chubby cloth covered torso and wears his original cloth knit diaper and charming, pink knit baby suit with tiny pearl button closures and is in extremely good overall condition except for a small hairline between is nose and upper lip which is hard to see.
