    DESCRIPTION:
    Nice original WWII German death card for a lance cpl in A LUFTWAFFE AIRCRAFT RECON SQUADRON. Specifically:
    "August Leithgob, master smith in civilian life, and lance cpl in a LUFTWAFFE AIRCRAFT RECON SQUADRON, who died on March 11, 1942, aged 31 on the eastern front (russia), for Fuhrer, Folk, and Fatherland." Photo in Luftwaffe uniform. In excellent condition.
    Original item over 75 years old. A nice face and a story to a soldier who otherwise would be a forgotten statistic.
