Inspected by Steinway dealer technician and currently appraised:
This piano is all Steinway original and is in good condition for it's age. All of the tuning pins are tight. The action has been replaced with all original Steinway parts. All of the action parts are moving freely. The soundboard and bridges are free of any crack or defects. The cabinet is in good condition for its age.
For insurance purposes the model L is no longer made and has been replaced with the model O. The current replacement cost for a Steinway model O is ,300.00.
The model L & O is only 3.5" longer than the M, but the scale design and tone are far superior. This instrument is suitable for the more advanced player, larger living room, and many school and teaching situations.  (Model L discontinued in New York, still manufactured in Hamburg, Germany)
I have owned the piano since the early 90's. The piano has performed wonderfully and has given me many years of enjoyment. I am moving to the east coast, and selling because I will not have room.
