Items T55-T75 are PROBABLY Mohawkite from Michigan. The mine has been closed for decades and is sealed shut. There are no tailing piles left and the property is privately owned and posted no trespassing. I say probably because this stuff looks identical to some of my Silver ores. You can tell with an acid test, but the acid used destroys Mohawkite but does not hurt Silver. Gem grade Mohawkite is worth MORE than pure Silver bullion, it makes incredible jewelry.
This lot was just found. I was told 7 years ago by my doctors to start getting my affairs in order. Well, heck. Still trying to get rid of a 40 year collection, cleaning out a warehouse(slowly) and a bunch more in storage. Price is my estimate of a STARTING BID, the more it is the better it is, I THINK. Make up your own mind before bidding, no refunds or returns.
