Under the new Postmaster General the USPS has been devastated.
Overtime is eliminated, mail that can’t be delivered by a certain time has to be brought back, and facilities are scaled down. This reduction in service is occurring as more and more Americans are turning to online shopping because of the pandemic. Moreover, postal facilities themselves have been hit by work stoppages from the virus. Any estimated delivery date given by Ebay does not reflect the current realities of what has and is continuing to happen to the USPS. My experience with Ebay customer support as both a seller and a buyer through a challenging time has been inconsistent at best. Every delivery is running late, every delivery. An item may take weeks to be received. I have no control over what the USPS does with a package once I hand it off to them, and I will have no further information regarding shipping status than you, even if I go to any post office and ask for help.
I apologize in advance for any issue arising from a delayed delivery, but I ask that you understand what has happened to the USPS and be cognizant of the struggles they’re now facing. If you need this item(s) to be delivered to you in a timely manner please understand that may not happen and judge making a purchase accordingly.
Offered for Sale is this Pair of Vintage 1939 - 1940 New York World's Fair Periodicals. Please read the above for the item's description & condition, and please review my photos. The "Safety" book, soft cover, 40 pages, 7-3/8" x 10-1/4", b & w photos, and text, is a drill master's guide more than anything. The "Aquacade" book, soft cover, 20 pages, 8-3/4" x 11-7/8", color and b & w advertisements, b & white photos, and text, is all about this particular attraction performing at the World's Fair. The vintage Coca-Cola on the inner front cover is in really great condition.
These were never meant to last for posterity. If you collect 1939 - 1940 NY World's Fair memorabilia then consider adding these to your collection.

Parcel Post and Media Mail delivery take longer than Priority Mail, and International delivery may take longer due to customs.

As the United States Postal Services constantly changes the methods of shipping with subsequent changes in shipping rates, every attempt is made to price shipping charges fairly.
I DO NOT SHIP “PARCEL SELECT”. If any shipping charge paid exceeds the amount charged by more than the handling fee added to every item, then any “overcharge” MAY be refunded back to the buyer through their Paypal account.
