This is a World War II German M40 steel helmet. It's marked on one side EF68 and on the rear rim there is a serial number. One of the split pins is missing it's round washer. This helmet looks like it has been painted many times green, white, black. This helmet is solid and heavy. The maker is Emaillierwerke Fulda.
