Description
You are bidding on VERY NICE example of a REPRODUCTION WW2 German Luftwaffe "Manned" Fi-103 R-IV Rocket Main Instrument Panel! The Fieseler Fi 103R, code-named Reichenberg, was a late-World War II German crewed version of the V-1 flying bomb (more correctly known as the Fieseler Fi 103) produced for attacks in which the pilot was to parachute down at the attack site, which were to be carried out by the "Leonidas Squadron", V. Gruppe of the Luftwaffe's Kampfgeschwader 200.
Made of layered wood, this Main Instrument Panel is in EXCELLENT condition! A 100% EXACT reproduction, it was made using both an original panel as reference, as well as the original blueprints. Painted in RLM66, it has openings for 5 instruments and switches, and has 4 original shock mounts. Comes with the main ignition switch. Some marks and wear, but nothing that detracts. I should have most of the instruments in stock to complete this, and it would look FANTASTIC as a display, due to the small size. I have shown the exact location in the last photos. A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!

------------------- ABOUT ME -----------------
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
