WW2 German Luftwaffe Aircraft Steuerruder- RLM76 AILERON FABRIC #5 - Me109 K-4

You are bidding on a SUPERB relic example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Fabric Steuerruder (Aileron) Section, a
s used ONLY on the Me109 G10 thru K4 series fighter aircraft!  This SPECIFIC piece of camouflage skin originated from a JG27 Me109K-4 wreck that was recovered about 10 years ago.  I will be providing the loss info to the winning bidder.
An aileron (French for "little wing" or "fin") is a hinged flight control surface usually forming part of the trailing edge of each wing of a fixed-wing aircraft. Ailerons are used in pairs to control the aircraft in roll (or movement around the aircraft's longitudinal axis), which normally results in a change in flight path due to the tilting of the lift vector. Movement around this axis is called 'rolling' or 'banking'.
Made of Spanish Linen, this Me109 K-4 Aileron Fabric section is in VERY NICE relic condition!  This is the LATE camouflage color of RLM76, developed in 1944/1945.
There is some obvious wear and damage, but it is still quite solid.  Paint and markings are still 100% intact!  This specific aircraft had various colours throughout the airframe, consisting of RLM74, RLM75, RLM76, RLM81, RLM82, and RLM83!
